Problematic Mechanics

I was after a Set Ring, and was Targeting Set Ring nodes in the correct Monolith, I was doing the correct way to grind, but apparently not getting lucky with the Ferebors drop itself. Once I played with my friend, we got it easier obviously with 2 players receiving drop(s) 1 targeting the node, and the other just rnging the ring nodes. -and yes I agree rare items need to exist, but when you spend your whole day grinding 1 item and come up empty- then on top of that even if you get it, it has to roll the stats without any ways to change that… it get’s a bit out of hand. RNG will be the way it is sometimes :man_shrugging: doesn’t make it any less annoying, when theres only 1 way to target farm.

nah, nothing u said, yeah let the game easy as shit, who need challenge and variety of things. Just let as kill mobs asap. I want to kill mobs, not avoid your piu piu lazers. And lagon is hard, forgot about that, hard becouse I am lazy to avoid things. I wanna kill him using only one hand. Omg, why I get stunned, this game so hard. Uniques are hard to find, mobs are hard to kill. Damn. Wtf with games in 2024.

Fair response, I do hear players in 300-700 corruption, but I also hear about game breaking bugs which allow easier trips through that level of gameplay.

Despite that, I also understand the games not “too hard” The game has to have a level of difficulty, but also shouldn’t be throwing annoyances everywhere it wants. Stuns being again my main annoyance, though fixable, I shouldn’t be forced to itemize specifically against it to have fun. -and I have been stun locked before, 1 second immune isn’t enough, Alot of the times I get stunned and my input gets stolen by the stun, then I attempt to traversal again, but 1 second passed and I was immediately hit by another Light mages attack- then again, Yes that is my input error, but it still doesn’t change the fact I have been locked- and stuns are trash.

and Lagon’s mechanics are easy sure, and Perhaps being level 76 in a 100 monolith was a poor choice at the time, but I still say he hits too hard.

Overall I agree, for those whose Traversal skill can teleport, or immune.
Falconeer however the main Traversal is Aerial Assault which doesn’t have an immune frame, nor teleport. Eye Beam unless carefully dodging Before he goes to fire- is instant death.

(now of course this is ignoring that Falconeer has far more strengths than weaknesses… and also Lagon is cheese-able by standing on the stair case… sooo I guess oh well)

but honestly out of all the boss fights, Lagon hit’s the hardest- maybe I was better geared for the other fights at the first impressions… idk. -but at this point I’ve fought them all on empowered rifts, and I still stand he needs damage “Changes” while also fixing the cheese…

meaningful replies would be expected, everyone else though most disagreeing has been respectful, if you are just here to trash talk, then go elsewhere. I’m not the only ones with these opinions.

Also- I was unaware of the resist caps at the time of post- so oops.

Still doesn’t give you the right to be an ass.

Except for poison, shock, shred and Mark for Death overcapping resistances that much is a waste of eHP.

All that excess over capped resistance is not doing anything.
You should rather spend those affixesmblessings/passives on something that increases your eHP. Like armor, dodge, health etc.

If you do that nothing 1 shots you without telegraph

yes, thank you. at time of post I was unaware of how specific resists worked. overlooked the phrasing. -gotta edit to prevent more confusion.

Why? You can literally setup to where you want the eye beam to start, and then run to the opposite side of the platform while it powers up. I had my 6 year-old queueing me on it, when he was watching me play – “ok, dad, run to the other side now”. ffs
