I would like to suggest releasing a dedicated server package, via the steam tools, for players who have their own hardware, to host their own private dedicated servers.
Since all character profiles are saved and hosted on each server, I’m not sure how this would negatively affect the Official Online Servers in any way.
Primarily this would essentially work the same as offline except a few friends could join the private server.
My interest comes from the reliability and performance advantages of a private server. I realize not everyone has their own hardware… which is why it is always great to have the Official Servers.
I would imagine if a feature like this were to come to Last Epoch… it would be one more addition that would greatly set the game apart from the competition.
