Summons remain with you even when their skills are replaced.
For example, I summon Wolf or Saber or Spriggan and replace those skills with something else. I can use new skills or can even summon new creatures / totems, can change location, but earlier summoned creatures remain with me.
P.S. I suspect other summoner classes have the same issue.
