Seems like my sabertooth takes 0 damage. When hit, it shows damage numbers, but putting it next to a totem in a diamond matron beam, the HP bar didn’t even wiggle.

what a good kitty… new definition for 9 lives…
No idea as to the why of the bug itself… Does it do it all the time - i.e. you have immortal kitties whenever you use them or was it just this one time and no longer does so after a restart of the game?
If thats the case, could you post your skill trees? - there may be a reproduceable bug.
Restarted the game, still had immortal sabertooth. Vids of him standing in lagons eye beam, getting hit for over 2k, hp bar does not move at all. Game is registering damage, since its retaliation skill is going off, just not actually taking HP from it. Haven’t had to revive him at all during campaign or echoes. Tried it with other companions, they all take dmg. Attached lagon vids, skill/passive trees. could just be a visual thing with the portrait, since the totem also survived, however barely, but it feels more like its not actually taking the damage since the companion survived the entire fight without getting revived/going down.

Tested some more this morning in normal reign of dragons. Obv reloaded the game again, took sabertooth completely off bar and summoned raptor, put saber back on, resummoned to try and get a fresh cat. Have not changed any skill/passive tree specs.
First vid is right after the fresh summon, where you can see the HP bar moving when taking 100-200 dmg from the ogre and flesh, so its clearly taking damage and updating properly.
Second vid is two echoes later (same summon), where its taking 800-1k damage hits from the dragon without wiggling the HP bar. Seems like its getting some sort of extra hp or storing leech to some unnatural levels, making it effectively immortal. It has some leech, but the saber is doing ~300 a hit, so its not like its leeching a lot anyways.

Thanks for doing this legwork. It can only help the devs. Am not near my gaming system to be able to play to test this myself to see if I can replicate this, but every little bit you do helps.
So to confirm - your Sabertooth shows expected behavious on first summon but over time the issue appears where it looks like it takes no additional damage.
It may be as you guess something wonky with leech or something else compounding over time but it would have to be crazy levels for this to be true and I would have thought that a big hit like the dragon blast in your vid would still show HP blip if it were just leech involved.
My guess is that something is incrementally increasing the HP pool to astronomical levels where the UI just cannot scale to show the damage no matter how big the hit.
Out of interest what stats show on the Minion tab in the Character sheet once the kitty goes immortal - I know the stat sheet is borked but it would be interesting as some other skills that go haywire sometimes leave a clue there - like what happens with Sigils of Hope showing a maxed out negative 32-bit number for damage on the char sheet… Just a thought.
Question - have you run a Game FIle verification since experiencing this sabertooth issue - maybe there is a corrupted asset file or something involved.
Side note: I noticed two things in your latest log that could be unreleated to this issue (or sign of something else), typically lots of repeated errors like these can indirectly cause performance or instability issues the longer you play - the log also gets bigger and bigger and the logsystem is forced to record more than expected and uses more memory causing other indirect issues.
you are getting a few Shader Rendering errors - usually a sign of driver issues, settings too high OR a possible issue in a specific map you are running. Have you noticed anything graphically or abnormal FPS spikes?
You are also getting an abnormal amount of FMOD errors (a lot) - this is Unitys sound component - Have you noticed any sound problems? Are you using any third party sound components while playing?
I know you have been around the community quite a while and you are seemingly just trying to help, but holy shit getting told “thanks for doing the leg work” from a non EHG member sounds insanely condescending.
Justin has already said he is looking into it on the CT discord when I made the original post here and there days ago. It is just easier to post all the info/new info here, instead of on there.
minion tab is fine, and since its only effecting sabertooth thats not super surprising. files are also fine.
i dont have the most beastly of pc’s, so, graphics are always a bit iffy. any repeated fps drops i log as well. had an issue with underground palace map on this build, but no others. occasional hiccups. though now that you mention settings, i have the “master” setting to medium but all the lower options are sitting on ultra, which seems rather backwards.
sound wise, i dont normally play with sound. but i did know there was an issue with a repeated sound error(another dev on my fps drop post said i had quite a bit and i told them the same thing) with this build, but since i dont know what they are supposed to sound like, not gonna be super helpful. tho some of the sabertooth skills seem to make 0 sound, so that might be.
