Superb. I hope we get an equippable mop.
@EHG_Mike My first character this season will be named Ayla, and I look forward to ending the Reptite menace.

Thatâs because I had replied to Kulze in that message haha.
I have no idea why I thought I replied to you in that thread, but it was also almost three weeks ago lol
Would still prefer a 40k Space Marine.
Exciting but I cant be the only one worried about power creep at this point.
Diablo has this unshakeble faith that more tiers of affixes, more rarity, more colors means fun. And look at their games of late? Massive multipliers where you are compelled and almost required to have the max tier affixes and max rarity of gear. Consider D3⌠Norma, magic, rare, legendary, ancient legendary, primal ancient legendary (think thats how it all went right?) . D4 was the same for a while: Normal, magic, rare (all useless), legendary, sacred legendary, ancient legendary, unique, mythic uniqueâŚ
I just caution the developers to keep a watchful eye on the player power creep.
I think Primordial Items are very careful and thought through power creep and item progressionwise it makes sense.
Prolonging the item progression with this is power creep yes, but it also prolongs character progression, which is good and needed.
They are a new branch of items that are a dead end and incompatible with existing other endgame item rarities.
Exciting but I cant be the only one worried about power creep at this point.
At this stage, I think having the fastest power creep of any ARPG has just been completely accepted as the main identity of the game. Each addition has to be miles stronger than anything else seen before. Oh well.
Honestly, as the scaling is âinfiniteâ, I wouldnât mind too much. People will just go higher and higher in corruption or arena waves in each season. If that amuses the devs, and most pleyers, so be it.
What really, really bugs me, is that once again it will be integrated in the campaign. Turning it inevitably a little bit more into a joke, like the nemesis and lizards already did.
Both nemesis and primordial could be interesting endgame options to keep on developping a character. But I see them as complete game breakers when you can get their rewards from act 1âŚ
I wasnât sure I was going to play season 3, one day of âhypeâ (anti-hype?) has been enough to convince me I wonât.
As for the items, donât get me startedâŚ
D3 and D4 might have a lot of different items, but at least I understand the progression.
But normal, magic, rare, unique, set, exalted, legendary, weaver, experimental, personal, primordial⌠It is pretty much one entirely new category of items per season, not even linked by a logical progression.
Frankly preposterous. Complexity for its own sake.
