I’ve skimmed through a lot of the topics, and I was wondering what was it that I found lacking that hasn’t been posted yet. Spoiler alert: Nothing.
I don’t think the devs have gotten enough praises for their work. Slow, yes. But every step they take always makes the game better. I bought this game when it was only around 10 dollars equivalent? Played it, uninstalled it. Came back recently after beating D4. Oh boy does a lot of things change.
LE is the best ARPG I’ve ever played, and I’ve played them all. Thanks devs for an awesome experience. 250 hours in and no end in sight for me. This is my default game for the forsee-able future
The things I think are best about the game are the visual design of the End of Time area and the Monolith boss mechanics. I love fighting endgame bosses in this game. I wish I could do it 80-90% of the time instead of playing the other content. It’s a ton of fun, especially on a suboptimal build where I have to really think about what I’m doing and how to get around certain things. If they wanted to, they could’ve made an ARPG that was nothing but boss fights and raid content, and that would’ve been amazing. Hopefully we’ll get something like that in the future.
I also admire that these guys listen to the community and want to improve their game, more than any other group of developers I’ve ever seen. I think there are other companies that work as hard to deliver content, but the clear aim here is to make the best ARPG they can possibly make that people will actually enjoy playing, rather than just being addicted to it due to RNG. I respect that and I really hope they keep at it until LE has the polish on it that I’m hoping for.
