You are all amazing and hardworking individuals that really care and know how to make a good game, cant wait to see whats in store for the future. Rough start but knew you guys would get it and i had no big expectations from EHG as you guys are a smaller team and even billion dollar giants cant get launches perfect. Sometimes much worse than this one even. Congratulations to you all on the launch and success of your game. Ps. Please include leftclick move and attack asap :slight_smile:

this is all cool and all but not what i really wanted to see. besides the server issues, i think the most important part i wanted to see adressed are the performance issues. especially regarding the memory leak.
also supporting only a single cpu core is devestating man

I have made a topic for the features I think should be added in the game. You can comment more suggestions if you want. I will be adding more things to the list. Suggestions for the future of the game

Firstly, I want to congratulate you on the excellent game that Eleven Games created. I’m impressed and I think this has had an impact on other games in the ARPG genre. Secondly, I would love to see some technical posts about backend, frontend and cloud and the challenges of building a game of this magnitude.
Lastly, I would like to recommend that you review the way the story is told in the game, I know that this is not a strong point in ARPG games, but I feel that you have a great world and that the story could be better worked on.

Thanks for the update Judd. I think you gave the situation a fair shake, acknowledging the issues, but not being over-apologetic.

Personally, I give you and EHG more credit for successfully navigating the launch than I would if it had gone off without a hitch. I think your communication, accountability, and determination to not only fix the issues, but to make things right with the community are sensational. Further, your diplomatic approach to the toxic parts of the community response deserves an honorable mention.

Hats off to you guys (especially your backend heroes)!

ここ数日は寝る間もなく頑張っておられたと思います。昨夜はなんの問題も無くパーティプレイもできましたよ。今週末あたりはゆっくりと静養して欲しいと思います。

要望をここに書くべきかは分からなかったのですが、2つほどお願いいたします

(1) ゲーム内チャットで日本語が入力できるようにして欲しいです。Windowsの現在のシステムフォントが使えるようにして頂ければ各国語対応できそうに見えます。

(2) それと日本語にも対応して欲しいです。PoEやD4を遊んで居るわたしの仲間達が続々とLast Epockに参集してきています。日本語対応してもらえればもっと爆発的に人が増えると思うのです!

I know you have been working hard the last few days without any sleep. We were able to party last night without any problems. I hope you will be able to get some rest and relaxation this weekend.

I wasn’t sure if I should put my requests here, but I have two requests:

(1) I would like to be able to type in Japanese in the in-game chat, and if you could use the current Windows system font, it looks like you could support many languages.

(2) Also, I would like to see Japanese language support, as many of my friends who play PoE and D4 have been flocking to Last Epock. If you can support Japanese, I think the number of users will increase dramatically!

Hi, that sounds really great and I’m happy to see that the game live and evolve :blush:

Even if it wasn’t the best start, I or the saw, that EHG tried their best and keep us in the loop, as we were in the strategic command center too :wink:
That and your work close to the gamer is, that every gamer has hoped for. Every other studio should look at EHG and follow in your foodsteps!

But also a question from my side :wink:
Is the update with the challenging boss and the quality of life improvement only for the cycle or does the infinitum gets these too?

Judd, I’m sure it was a colossal undertaking making this all happen. Just wanted to say it is SO appreciated and that you and your EHG team are an inspiration. Thank you for creating the world of Eterra and for sharing it with all of us. <3

Loved the game during Early Access (250h+) and love the final form of this 1.0 release. I’m having an absolute blast with Falconer atm. The server problems were a bit concerning (Wolcen Flashbacks anyone? :smiley: ), and the fact that ppl were so pissed just showed how hyped they were to play your game. Even though they were rightfully angry, a lot of the messages from players on Discord were beyond what’s ok and didn’t do you or your service justice.

I have over 4k hours in PoE, and played a lot of Diablo 3 and Diablo 4 (first 2 seasons at least). So i’m very happy to see you’re leaning hard to the PoE-way of communicating and caring for service to the player. That includes your form of frequent and open communication and even the smallest QoL-Features in-game that other Triple A-companies just don’t think to be necessary.

All in all i think a lot of players are in for the long run, and i personally can’t wait to see what you come up with for the next cycles.

Early access (2019) player here. Great work guys!!! Can really see the ARPG passion in the systems. Miles ahead of current Diablo and their team. Keep up the good work and thank you for handling the first week launch issues.

Huge props for all the hard work yinz have done to address and fix issues. This is easily my fave ARPG and look forward to seeing what you guys come up with for 1.1.

I love the game! Just wish the disconnects would stop! Also my game has crashed 3 times today out of the blue?

im pretty new to arpgs and love poe and grim dawn etc but even though this had some teething problems with launch i have to say this is by far the best arpg ive played yet ,absolutley love the game amazing campaign and loveing the endgame great job judd and team .

I have noticed a huge improvements in loading screens and general performance since the first day, so kudos. 1.0 brought a huge amount of polish to the game which it sorely needed. I hope it continues to get better. Some spells could use a little more OOMPH to their audio and visual aesthetic, but warlock’s spells feel great for example.

My biggest complaint, and this is coming from someone playing on a 13700k/RTX 4090 w/ 32GB DDR5, is that item tooltips, rune pickups, etc cause a pretty surprising amount of stutter as things “pop in”. The gameplay itself is close to buttery smooth for me, but as soon as I go to an area with a bunch of items and begin to compare them on the ground, I drop several frames in the process. The same thing goes for if a bunch of runes/materials drop, when I go to pick them up I drop a bunch of frames. Not sure how this can be improved, but it is annoying especially when my hardware is top of the line. it shouldn’t happen.
