Hey there…

It sounds from your description that one of your loot filters is corrupted for whatever reason (file corruption, incorrectly formatted filter etc)… it doesnt need to be an active one - it can be any filter in the filter folder that the game attempts to read.

Looking at your player.log - its logging lots of XML (the format of the filter files) errors and cannot read the filters properly so this confirms your filters are messed up.

The best way to resolve this issue is to manually remove all the filters from the folder while the game is not running.

On windows the filter folder is in:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch

Once the filters are all removed, you can then recreate them in-game and everything should be ok…

This kind of issue can happen with the beta/early access state of the game so I would recommend that you backup your filters to make this less of a problem in the future… (I owuld backup savegames too just to be safe)…

Side note: If you are using Steam, I recommend that you verify game files to make sure that nothing else has been messed up with your LE install.

Or you can copy them back in the folder one by one until you find the one that is corrupted. This way, you won’t lose the others.

Never worried me… but then again my lootfilters are:

  1. Does it have these affixes?
  2. Does it have a minium of T12 in total?

Done…
