Yes if they actually deliver on cycles, leagues, or seasons. Whatever we are calling it. Only game that has pulled it off is PoE and that’s because they have a monstrously fast turn around on content. Making that much content every 3 months while developing full expansions seems like it should be impossible
I am in over 3500 hours already. So… YES.
However, the future ultimately depends on the seasonal model and its future. The moment I feel that no new content is coming to Legacy is when I quit and move on to another ARPG.

No. The trending everywhere is maximize Shop for minimal expense. Nobody is fixing this and have the model all wrong, make people happy with their games and they will spend more in game. Look at it like each customer is actually an employee, happy employee = good productivity.

If this were true, 1.0 would have skill MTX, shield MTX, etc. There are still lots of missing MTX options. So it clearly isn’t the trend.
