Noone wanna second poe and pass whole Campaign on every Season on every char. I have solution (in shortcut):
You still have to pass Campaign on every Cycle, BUT just once, enough for any character
Idols / passives on per account, not per char (ofc separately for SC, HC, SSF and Standard / Cycle)
Move Factions guy to End of Time location (but you have to complete all acts, including 9th)
Better start for alt characters - create 2-3 mini Monoliths (locations can be transfered from Campaign) and option to get there around 1-50/55 lvl instead of Campaign
You can choose Factions at min. lvl for example 50 on other chars
You can already skip large parts of the campaign by using dungeons. Mike has said before that they plan to rebalance them so you can do them at a lower level and on getting the idols/passives bonuses in alternative ways. So you can expect that in the future you won’t have to play the whole campaign if you don’t want to.
You can already shortcut through dungeons and you can get the End of Time port at any time in coop as long as one player has it and carries you through some monoliths so you can skip almost all of the campaign.
Skip campaign with using dungeons isn’t resolve the problem, you still miss Idols / passives. Also skip campaign isn’t viable at first char cuz we don’t have keys.
I guess nobody has told you that you can get someone to give you a lift to the end of time at lvl 1 & just level in monoliths then? No need to do the campaign at all, not even on the first character. No need for dungeon keys.
