The Streamers you are seeing are playing Last Epoch in offline mode…

Please just refund the game - the average playercount in beta was about 10-20k, sure you have a higher number at the release, but nobody expected 250k players after that average.

And also … all those streamer tHaT CaN pLaYE tHe GAmE are all playing in offline mode. Maybe you should first take a look at them before you start the whining.

As noted, it appears most streamers are playing in offline mode. And honestly it is a game, I am frustrated too. But hopping on here and yelling (I am reading your sweary tone as somewhere between ballistic and livid) isn’t going to fix it. Trust me, they didn’t want this to happen. But also no matter how you train, how you develop, how you do everything you can think of to get things right. Nothing prepares you for live.

Lets see how they handle it before shoveling crap everywhere.

Or, as you can do what you want…get that bucket loader fired up…

you are wrong

Wrong

How can this player count not be expected? i mean they clearly saw how many copies were sold and knew that arpg players are excited for another title.

Sorry, but this “we couldnt have known” argument wont work.

Yeah snowflake - everyone is wrong and your the only one who cant play. Jeez, this generation … so unreflected.

The average online playcount was never more than 10k for more than a month.

The actual average playcount can be checked in multiple sites and it was never more never more than 2k.

Online always had desync issues, bugs and tons of problems. That’s coming from a guy that plays on every big patch. The issues are the same. You can still pass thru wall and do tons of glitches due to desync.

I would bet that they know about all their sales. Still didn’t do much about it. And now act surprised. As it is normal to have problems when you’re unprepared. Life teaches everyone something, some people just don’t like to learn.

We live in modern times, but money savings is sometimes more important than public image. I’d say public image often generates more revenue than these disgraceful situations during launch.

IT, I’m not surprised at all. Actually, I’m surprised offline works, and all can at least have a look. Give them 24 hours, and then start to ask for refund. I will not, and be pleased if it works then

I don’t want a refund, that is silly. BUT they should have been more prepared. Wouldn’t they be prepared for 500k at a minimum? With 1 mill sold…
Regardless, I will be patient and enjoy the game once its ready.

It´s not personal, it´s a fact if you start to complain at a game release … I mean, the devs do everything to fix all the problems as soon as possible. Also: They keep us updated - not even a handfull of way bigger companies do that.

And yeah, the big streamers like Cohh, Bajheera, Jessi and so on playing all in offline mode right now - thats a fact. Just take a look at the not visible latency bar and you see it clearly.

So just relax, get a coffee or tea, do something in between that makes you happy and have fun with the game in like 1-2 hours. :grinning: :+1:

thats some heavy coping there. Heck, even this forum doesnt work properly.

I was hoping to participate in the race to 100 (Blast Epoch, sponsored by EHG) but seeing there is already lvls 15-16 (online, SAF-Hardcore) while I can’t loggin, I guess that’s better luck next time :stuck_out_tongue:

and right now there are about 200k players at the gate who want to run in the game. How should anyone expect a 20x higher rundown on the gates than the average was? The servers where made or bought for about 100k ppl and thats a lot if you compare it with the average of ~10k in the last months. Dont know but compared to blizzard and others they do it far better, at least with the communication.

you dont seem to grasp that their sale data clearly suggests how much server capacity should be there.

I mean heck, even with the 10k~ in the lasts months the transmissions to other maps didnt work. Clearly they should have sticked to beta.

ARPGs have not had a great track-record when it comes to new seasons or launches. This is a resounding theme that people should more or less anticipate at this point, let alone from a studio that has a substantially smaller team than a lot of the bigger titles. I’m not saying “this should be the norm” or defending this, it’s disheartening, but regardless, this was more or less anticipated (from my perspective). Just be patient, it’s going to be a bit of a shit fest all day once the 9-5 wave tries getting on later tonight.

Except for the fact that you know your sales numbers and you always have a rough estimate on how many people will play on launch.

Saving money is none of my concern as the developers tend to do these days.

Blizzard had more than a million on day one. Almost every person got to play after 1 hour. To be fair the worst launch that was Diablo 3 is yet to be beaten. But that was… let me see… 12 years ago.

So when you know whats coming you often take pre-cautionary action.
When you don’t take pre-cautionary action, you often get surprised. Like this shameful moment in 2024.

Let me remind you “We are proud of 1 million”
Meanwhile cant let 150 000 play.

Yeah dude, keep coping.
