Please please please please dont let another gold dupe glitch in the new cycle

Im still sour and pissed how the entire market was ruined becuz of gold dupe glitch i droped red ring and i got only 100 hours in LE overall and then literally 1 hour later i droped another red ring i sold them both for for 35 milion each that was ALOT of gold i was so excited to make a new build with top tier items in every slot becuz i could afforded it but nope the next day people found out there was gold dupe glitch and market prices literally went up by 20-30 times of every item now i couldnt even afford 1 top tier item in one of my gear slots so i quit the league i just hope it wont happen again

not everyone live in a country where english is primary language yes i know its crazy that english isnt the only language worldwide

If there was a exploit once, there is likely to be another one. Question is how much damage and how quickly it is caught. No game is perfect

well they cant get caught becuz LE devs dont have such tracking tools like for example PoE devs have in their game they can literally track anything down any dupe any trade that has happened

Tracking is possible for every item with id. Canā€™t tell about gold, but even keys has their id. Try to autosort stash with different types of keys
Also I can confirm that item duping in Soul Bastionā€™s gambling is fixed

Yes, I am aware that English is not the primary language in most countries, but, as far as Iā€™m aware, all of the languages that use the latin alphabet (& I believe those that have a few other/additional letters, such as Cyrillic) use various punctuation symbols, even if they vary (English uses " around speach at both ends, Spanish uses a " below the text at the start and a " above the text at the end of the speech). Though this does raise the question of how the non-latin-based alphabets work in this regard (modern Greek does, apparently ancient Greek didnā€™t). :man_shrugging:

This llama guy loves off-topicing threads into grammar policing and language discussion

Iā€™d just like to add that inflation happens regardless of exploits. So those red rings you sold early would have been more valuable in a few days/weeks regardless. Same thing with other desirable gear. Itā€™s cheaper at the start of a cycle but will increase as players generate more wealth.

That is because the gold sink that exists (Lightless Arbor) isnā€™t appealing enough to many people or they donā€™t even know about it.
EHG wants LA to be the gold sink MG needs, but theyā€™ll need to improve both the dungeon/mechanic itself and the way itā€™s presented in the game. Mike said 1.2 will come with dungeon improvements, so letā€™s see what they come up with.

Iā€™m not a lawyer, but in his defense, he only ever does that when OP is completely useless, bringing no new, nor even interesting, discussion/feedback/suggestions to the forums, you know, like a thread that says ā€œplease please please donā€™t let a gold dupe happen again, because I will leave the game againā€.

Fair enough, Iā€™m not here enough to have noticed that

I suggest that EHG continue resetting the cycle every time thereā€™s a gold dupe. Punish everyone for the actions of the few. Then, when people get sick of needing to restart because of those people. Theyā€™ll band together and root them out.

In theory.

In practice, that kind of action only works in physical groups and I think has actually been shown to be outdated thinking?

They could even use the Captain America ā€œI could do this all dayā€ meme every time they reset the cycle XD

That is true, I play MG and would rather spend my gold on an item I know I want rather than spend a load on a gamble on getting an item I want. I guess further down the line when there are more mechanics added you could have the option to spend gold to guarantee a mechanic appearing in an echo. Similar to the map device on Poe.

Iā€™m not a lawyer, but yes, pretty much.

:person_shrugging:t3: Fair enough.

I think the ā€œpunish the many for the actions of the fewā€ nainly works to cause resentment & anger towards the powers that be & I donā€™t think a game developer really wants to be in that position frequently if at all.

your post is useless and brought nothing new nor even interesting discussion/feedback/suggestion all you did was cry just like llamas derailing every thread all you both do is troll and derail threads hopefully mods are gonna clean up the thread and delete off-topic troll posts from you both

I remember reading that it typically starts that way, but can, if handled well, quickly transition into resentment and anger for the ones responsible for the punishment.

Kind of like a ā€œdonā€™t be mad at me, Iā€™m not the one who keeps duplicating gold and crashing the economy.ā€

But again, itā€™s mainly showcased in older WW2 era boot camp style situations. Iā€™m pretty sure that modern psychology has shown that it works short term but doesnā€™t really work long term and promotes hazing to prevent situations from happening to begin with.

My suggestion was mainly satire.
