I like the Arena Monos. It different and I wish there where more different level styles. And I dont realy want to play Arena.
But there are alway these players … playing there with a stop watch and a calculator. There will be alway a optimal kind of level… a optimal char and skill combination… a optimal playstyle. So the optimal solution for the devs would be one kind of level. One char/skill and one playstyle.
But … I like these little anyoning levels for a change.
The arena in monolith is for some reason worse and takes longer time to spawn waves, than an actual arena in arena. And there are no rewards, I don’t remember a single unique dropping in arena echo, after many hundreds completed.
Looks like we play a different game because i know what way I need to go on every map because they are always the same. Same goes for enemys there are only certain kinds of them on each map. Then there are so little objectives they all feel old after 10 monos.
I would be fine with arenas staying if they were buffed. Maybe the initial thought for arenas was that it is higher mob density than normal monos but that stopped being an advantage long ago. Most builds can clear normal monos faster than arenas spawn enemies. They don’t drop almost any loot. XP gained is severely reduced. And they definitely take longer than any other type of mono. At this stage arena monos has nothing better than normal monos and feel punishing to be honest.
Usually any other maps provides nearly twice as much stability than Arena. Maybe one solution could be to increase the stability it provide by at least 1.5x ?
Agree. Always a downer when you get an arena in monos.
If they really need to be there for some odd reason, atleast make them worth something… they give way less stability and no loot.
