Please make Julra a bit more suited for Melees

Is there any chance of making Julra a bit more suited to close combat? I either have to dodge the beams or stand in the puddle. As it is, the fight is just rubbish.
And it´s not about Skill it´s about Fun.
I kill her but these Mechanics are just a Pain in the A**

I think a few fights are like this - Julra, new boss guy, Uber, Abby - if you’re an actual melee and have to stand next to them the fight (unless judgement pally) is far more tedious than if you’re a melee like Warpath where you dont get stunned, stay at a far distance etc - same applies for Erasing Strike. The tendancy in this game to have melee melee and ranged melee is crazy lol

Agree! That´s why i ignore Abby. Even with a bRange the Fight is too much for my Eyes and the tight Area…not my Cup of Tea. But that´s fine.In my Opinion bad Bossdesign but it seems enough People like it. And besides some Items i don´t miss anything ignoring Abby. But Julra is a must for crafting. And yes, as a Melee you have a bad Day with her unless you have enough Damage to kill her extremely fast.

Abby is indeed a big mess of a fight if u can’t burst him asap without those broken builds. I literally can’t see shjt during fight with all the freaking colours popping up :star_struck:

I’m Warpath and I kill T4 Julra crazy fast, but I noticed she is very hard to move. So in a prolonged fight she sits in the same places in both times. My solution was to back way off until she dropped the permanent “void” under me and then I moved in to DPS. Made the fight even longer but it was a bit safer.

Warpath is a pretty mobile Melee.Still not the easiest Kill in the Game.
Maybe they could take the Crafting out the Fight and instead bring nice Rewards/Drops to the Table.

Yes, by playing the fight correctly.

The beams rotate in a fixed place and can be ignored by good positioning.

You can place the puddle away from the boss. There’s a sound cue “escape is impossible” when jumping through timelines and that’s where the boss targets you with the puddle. It doesn’t appear instantly.

You can also avoid the puddle altogether by simply jumping back to the timeline at the end of the clock bomb attack and before she chases you. She only places the puddle if she has to jump timelines after you.

Thx Guys, didn´t even know that there are Ways to avoid the Puddles partially.

Yeah. Basically, you either time it right so that you return in the 1-2s window that happens after the clock bomb goes off but before she jumps the timeline to chase you or you just wait for her and place the puddle out of the way.

The first method has its risks and you have to time it right. If you jump back too soon you’ll get caught in the explosion and die and if you jump back too late she will chase you twice and place 2 puddles. You can practice this in a lower tier where the clock bomb won’t kill you until you get it right.
The second method is the safest one. Basically, once you change timelines to avoid the clock bomb move to the corners of the screen and wait for her to place the puddle below you and then evade/move out of it and now the puddle is out of the way and a non-issue.
