If you are not in a party, there is no excuse for in online mode, for the enemies to keep on attacking you while your character is actively disconnecting.

While I agree this can be improved, having mobs client side rather defeats the purpose of having everything server authoritative. Plus there’s the potential/likelihood for forced disconnects when the player decides that they dont want their character to die.
GGG solved it by server taking a pause if client didn’t send anything for 100 ms.
