Please keep minions closer

THere needs to be better trade-off between focusing down a monster and following the player. Especially because monsters love to spawn after you pass them, it’s really annoying not having your minion close by. I know I can try to tell it to attack my new target, but that’s still a band aid because I need my minion close to me to use it, so waiting for it to show up still sucks. The minion needs to autofollow once you get X distance from it.

Im really hoping stances change this.

1st stance ignore enemies follow you
2nd stance ignore you attack enemies

Be nice to just ignore mobs and run through a map without pushing a repeatedly then entire way

Stances still require management. I think they need to just improve the AIs. It is better than A, but marginally. also I noticed “A” has the nasty side effect of bringing more monsters with it.

Well A has a few issues one being it doesnt always override a minion that is in combat which makes it useless. But when you say it brings more mobs I dont a.I. is going to stop a mob from being agrod :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Being able to change the minion AI (between defensive & offensive) is the traditional way of letting the player be able to determin which minions remain with them as bodyguards & which go screaming off as bloodthirsty assassins.

Yeah, right now playing with minions feels like walking with your guns facing backwards :wink:

yeah half the time Im fighting my minions just stand around doing nothing because their agro range isnt far enough…
