Please give me a cosmetic

Please give me a cosmetic that is a simple shirtless look with a headband, loincloth and leather bracers so I can get that Conan style for my Primalist. I’d pay high price for that, and give me a greataxe or sword that doesn’t look like it’s a dinosaur bone or a sci-fi weapon and I’ll throw more money at you!

I’m not going to speak to your specific choices but I’m a much more basic art/equipment/gearing sort of person, as well. I’m usually going with some of the much more tone down, less stylized transmogs that are available in games that allow that sort of customization.

Right now I’d honestly just settle for being able to transmog things that are already in the game, like the simple long swords or bows or basic armor sets and what not. As well as a way to ‘hide’ helmet as it were.

A transmog system is part of the latest roadmap (almost a year ago now). No specific date/season for it, but we can confidently say it’s coming.

I like the more grounded look too, some of the weapon mtx look far too bulky, I’d much prefer the look of a simple longsword or claymore rather than an oversized axe made from Dino bones.

I 100% agree with you on that!

Yeah, these suggestions are honestly better than mine ha-ha

Yeah, I remember it was on the list, but after seeing the first iterations in s1 and s2 I was hoping it would be fairly quickly added because they art is actually already there. They don’t have to create it. And the ability to skin pieces is now also there. I’m not a programmer but I do work in the visual arts so there’s clearly something I can’t see that makes it more difficult.

Maybe the cosmetics is completely different engine from the transmogs.

Who knows :man_shrugging:t4:?

It was originally scheduled for what is the coming season. But we did have that delay, so, if things are somewhat on schedule (the new one), I expect we’ll get it next season.

Kinda but not really. I expect you’ll need some way to track which transmogs are unlocked or not and that is not the same check you do for MTX.
And transmogs can’t really be coded the same way as MTX for several reasons.
And you’ll need a different UI for it than for MTX.

Long story short is, given my knowledge (which isn’t directly in gaming), though it’s not simply a “copy/paste” of MTX code, it shouldn’t be too different in design. So it shouldn’t be too complicated.
I expect it’s not here yet because of priorities alone. Because there are many smaller things that get added each season and you need to prioritize which ones you work on first, even when there are several on the list.
You basically work on a couple major tasks and the rest of the team handles a handful of the smaller ones.

I picked my first character in Elden Ring based on the fact that he looked like Conan. I love the barbarian aesthetic.
