Well, this is not an issue anymore. When you die, your surrounding loot goes back with you now.
This, though, is the main issue. When more stuff drops than you can carry.

“If I go down you’re going down with me too!”
Adding to your recent statement … I would be in favor of an inventory capacity increase in LE … It would be really nice if we had about double the inventory space. I’m not really sure why the inventory is so limited to be honest, it seems a bit archaic considering all the other ARPG innovations in LE; loot filters, death vacuum, shattering items, etc. etc …
Partly because I do hold on to certain items longer than I should, because I can’t make up my mind if I need them or not, so I just carry them until I finally can decide.
Apparently I was having a senior moment, or being reality-adjacent.

I agree with this regardless of prophecies.
It still wouldn’t fix the issue. You can have a dozen prophecies trigger at the same time. It’s not uncommon to have it happen on a boss. And if you don’t have a way to pick them all up, you’ll have to leave them behind.
Most of these issues would be fixed with zone permanence, tbh (and boss rooms having a way back from the stash in the next room). But until then, it feels bad to have to leave half your hard earned loot behind because of the system limitations.
I’ll remember the term ‘truth adjacent’ next time you correct me on something Llama
Fair points.
Well at least we have a death vacuum now for those untimely deaths.

Still an issue IMO, especially because it’s only your surroundings… This one is a very low-quality bandaid I’d say.
If you need to move a little further to, say, avoid a 1-shot hit, but still dies, then your “new surroundings” have potentially nothing.
