Hiding the helmet seems like it should be a default option. Seems ultra simple to add to the game and you could sell it as a MTX. I think POE sells it as “vanishing dye”. I would buy it instantly. Loving the game but this is one of my few issues other than some changes to Circle of Fortune.

So in Star Wars Old Republic you could buy a set called “Covert Energy Armor” which was basically just a set of invisible items that applied the default unequipped look to a slot, so basically makes that slot invisible.
This would be a great solution as it would still provide the company with income but also allow greater customization for us as players. Not just hiding helm but also hiding gloves or whatever. I would pay a decent amount of money for a Last Epoch version of “Covert Energy Armor”
Selling something like this as a mtx would be a huge L.
Agree, having it in game would be cool but not for sale. POE can do it because it’s a free game.
EHG can (and should) absolutely do it too. MTX is how they intend to pay for ongoing development.
