Please add cooldowns before I go Path of Matth on you

Why are all the devs who put special attacks/spells/summons on their mobs forget to add cooldowns? To be more specific…I just started playing the Flame Wraith build everyone praised and had a blast so far until I have encountered summoning mobs/structures(The blood thing that rerolls rewards on your monolith). Ive cleared everything with no issue until Ive met those fuckers which were summoning shit over and over again and the only real solution was to try my best and spawn the wraiths on top of the specific summoner and hope he did not already summon 30 more monsters already.
The reason I make this dumb rant is because I literally mustve killed about 300-400~ monsters summoned by that fuckin red stone before I managed to kill it. What the living shit is this atrocity? The projectiles of my wraiths do not pierce so how the living hell am I supposed to do that. I understand that not all content is made for all the builds but summoners aint freaking content they are a random part of every moment of this game damn it.

There a couple of sulutions for this, like Vessels only summing monsters in waves with some breaks in between for example.

Instruct your Wraiths to target the highest priority target. You should be doing that constantly anyway. I have not experienced the issue that you describe.

OP is not using the melee wraiths. Ranged wraiths have projectile based attacks without pierce.

Well how in the god darn hell I do that? If you mean by targeting enemies with A button of course I do it but still they dont have pierce projectiles

Drop Wraiths right on top. Works for me.

Summon the wraiths beside them, or if you don’t have that node, use ‘A’ to move them behind the target, then ‘A’ on the target to kill it.
