Pets as Rewards or Drops

I wonder if all pets will be purchasable or if any will be obtained through gameplay.

Would be kind of cool to get the enemies or bosses in the game as a pet that drop, or quest reward or something. Kind of how D3 has pets that drop from enemies but they are not super common to drop.
