Permanent stash tab customizations

Can something be added so that we can set up our stash tabs once and then save them to be reapplied after reset?

Setting up my stash every reset is already getting old. I’d like something that means we can just customize everything how we like it once then come next season we can save the profile/layout or whatever you want to call it and with one click have it apply all the changes to a fresh stash, preferably with a pop up that lets us buy the appropriate number of tabs in one hit.

Being able to save multiple layouts would be a big help as well so that we can have cheaper layouts available on patch days and bigger, more expensive layouts once everyone has some gold laying about.

Ideally this would work the same way as loot filters with the ability to copy paste someone else’s saved layout as well but at this point I’d be happy just being able to copy my own.

if this is implemented, i think it should be setup so your tab config shows up but with all the tabs “disabled/unpurchased” and then we can just purchase them one by one out of our setup.

This is even more important now that the filter stuff auto-sorts…

It could even be a paid MTX item to “transfer tab setup to new seasons”. i would gladly pay $10-20 for that. (which is about $5000 less than the cost of my POE tabs… or it feels like it)

It’s a good idea. But I fear it’ll be too hard and annoying for them to want to bother implementing. I like @Kuro466 's idea for how it should be implemented, and also think that’s probably the best way to go about it. Have it so you click a button (or a dropdown of all your saved “profiles”) to display your setup with all the unpurchased tabs greyed out. The biggest hurdle I see, is how they’ll manage your current tabs and categories. Would be a big coding challenge. And could they detect if you have a same-named tab or category already? Another prob is that multiple categories and/or tabs can have the same name.

Actually this wouldn’t be that big of a challenge at all.
Instead of using the names of the tabs you would use a unique ID for each group and it’s tabs. Additional information like the names or applied settings could be duplicates this way. It’s likely that EHG even already has such a system in place for the bank in it’s current state. In this case it would just be a matter of pulling the already existing data and displaying it.

Of course stuff like being able to save the current layout as a profile or making the tabs unlockable again one by one after loading a profile would take some additional work, but it wouldn’t be anything too crazy.

I really like this idea btw!
