Performance issues with Smite + Fissure

Steps to reproduce:

  • Have a mediocre/old pc (GTX 1150 TI and Intel Core i5 3450)
  • Make a sentinal and get Smite + put a point in Fissure (and possibly 1 point in epicenter, aftershock and heavy impact.
  • Go to “The Verdant Lakes” in ancient era.
  • Fight monsters and drop to 3 FPS.
  • Unspec Fissure because the game is unplayable here.
  • Suddenly have good FPS again.
  • ???
  • Profit

I had much fewer performance issues outside of “The Verdant Lakes”, but the game is noticably faster without Fissure everywhere. But it was not as unplayable as specifically in the Verdant Lakes area.
