Performance and hardware strain

I just got the game and I am amazed by the diversity of play style and skill customization. However I am having a major problem with CPU strain.

First of all I might not have a top gaming PC at the moment but compared to other games I play often enough this one really seems to have a problem with optimization.

I have a gaming PC case with 5x120mm fans, GPU rx580 nitro+, CPU i5 4460, 8gb RAM, SSD.
Because I am using my PC for work and is my only source of income, I try to keep it as cool as possible, so when idle the system is around 30 C-35 C. The GPU when idling is 45 C with his fans turned off and CPU is around 38 C-40 C with CPU fan at 1000 rpm.

Drivers and win10 is updated regularly, PC case is cleaned thoroughly once a week.

Now, when I turn the game on, GPU barely even works, his temperature goes to 60(and work temperature for this GPU is 75 C) and the fans are barely working @around 700rpm, On the other hand, CPU is hitting the roof with temperature 70 - 75 with cpu fan at whooping 3200rpm

I tried with some tinkering, went through all graphics settings presets (Low High etc), turned off some stuff, made it windowed, limited the frames, even tried it 640x480 resolution, it’s always the same.

What’s unsaid that I get 60+fps on all the possible settings, there is not even a single frame drop at any moment.
What I am asking for is if there is a possibility for this fix since I can’t really risk a PC at this moment to play a game that can melt it in mere minutes. I wouldn’t mind playing it on a super low minecraft - like graphics, as long as it doesn’t burn the PC components.
Other than this issue which is probably not an isolated case and probably already looked at, I am loving this game and can’t wait to find a way to play it without any issues. Great experience!

You cpu is keeping under 80 degrees, so I’m not sure I would be too worried about it IMO. Though needless to say we all look forward to the devs optimising the game (a lot) more!

Thing is with the airflow this case is equipped with I never even seen my CPU to go over 60C at more than 2200ish rpm for any game that I tried. I think the problem that I am experiencing comes from my CPU being older generation and might not be optimized / supported as newer generations are. However it’s definitively strong enough since the game runs smooth on whichever graphics setting I choose.

It is fairly old, but I’d still probably be blaming the software first since I made a build that can easily get to low single digit (possibly lower, seconds per frame!) fps in arenas due to the number of calculations/procs involved. I also have a Haswell-based cpu (I5 4670K).
