PC shuts off after clicking play on steam

So this is happening after I click play on steam the game attempts to start then my PC immediately shuts off doesn’t restart just powers down completely.

specs
R7 7800X3d CPU
DDR5 5600 32 GB
RX7900xtx GPU
ASROCK X670E AM5 MOBO
GSkill 850 80 plus gold PS

So far Ive got this to stop after locking the fps in Adrenaline software but this seems like something that should be addressed at the developer level don’t want to damage my hardware, and at this point Imnot sure if my bandaid fix will hold

i also use adrnealin since many years and what i learned abou my pc and various games is - to avoid use the fps lock of adrenalin.
