You know you can press S and unlearn skills for free right?
The other shit you pay for, the amount is so trivial I don’t understand why people struggle unless they’re doing it all the time in which case that’s a problem you’ve created.
Killing stuff to get the points can be annoying, I guess. End game you change your dude up and just hit a low corruption or no corruption mono, run 2-3 (takes 5 mins or so) and you’ve got your points back.
I don’t like how removing of skill points/readding works specifically with removing/re-adding +skill items but that’s a me problem, lol.
The issue with this is - if it’s meaningless, why have it at all?
Now, this discussion has already happened multiple times in these forums, and the consensus was more or less that the current system is in place to avoid something like Diablo 3’s armory - in which it’s so easy to change builds that no character has any permanency, and there’s no meaningful build choice since nothing is permanent.
Which is a fair point, but I still think the execution is lacking - losing progress when switching skills really annoys me.
You’re probably right we should just have a game where you can do whatever you want whenever you want for free. I mean you just learnt new skills, in real life if you want to know how to shoot a gun you wouldn’t go to a shooting range because you would automatically just be an expert at it, same with race car driving or riding a horse so it makes sense in a game that you learn new skills you should also automatically know them. I mean, fuck experience we all know everything!
I reckon we should all start level 100 with 200 stash tabs, full LP4 gear with T7 affixes we get to hand pick on all of them, maxed out skills and 10 gazillion gold. They have absolutely no right as the people who develope the product they own to make us work even 5 minutes or pay a small portion of gold to do shit. HOW DARE THEY!!!
mutters people who own their own game company thinking they can decide how things in the game work, ridiculous mutters
Anyways sorry being a piece of shit - I think its annoying too but time/money sinks are in all arpgs and mmorpgs to keep people investing game time (I think)
