Either this is a UI bug, or its actually not giving me the 100% increased damage. I am also not convinced the healing effectiveness per point of attunement is not working either.
I think it’s a UI bug, I think the damage increase is being applied when the damage is calculated but it’s not displayed. I’ll see if I can give it a quick test after work (should be simple, respec a Paladin & VK/FG to have the same passive nodes, strip the gear & see how much damage you do with Smite, for example, or ideally Smite’s Fissure, as that does static damage).
Yes, the % increased fire damage from Paladin mastery is being applied. I compared the Fissue damage on a Void Knight (with no damage passives & no gear/idols, plus no damage nodes on Smite) to that on a Paladin (with no damage passives & no gear/idols, plus no damage nodes on Smite) & the VK’s Fissure was doing 5 damage per tick compared to 10 on a Paladin at max hp.
I then tried healing hand (un-specialised) on a Paladin with an Exsanguinous equipped. With 0 attunement I was getting healed up to ~230 hp (from ~130). With a set of max attunement gear & some points in Prime Fighter (45 attunement), I was being healed to full (472 hp). Which is about right if Healing Hand gets 5% healing effectiveness per point of Attunement & the Paladin mastery bonus gives 1% per point.
TLDR: Yes, it’s all working fine. Unlike Prayer & Divine Essence.
