Paladin uses javelin (battle standard) and uses warpath (winds of justice) to trigger smite, but it doesn’t work against BOSS (Lagon). This has been a problem for a long time. In addition, using Bladedancer’s dancingstikes, it is also difficult to use against Lagon (cannot face the target to trigger the attack).

These are not bugs with Paladin - they are well known (and sometimes frustrating) bugs with Lagon. Devs are well aware of them - but apparently the Lagon boss has so many issues that they are likely going to have to redo it entirely and as I understand it, they have simply been too busy with higher priorities - like Multiplayer demanded by players.
Imho, they will get to it eventually.
