Outdated design of certain nodes

The node Storm breath in Summon Storm crow gives 6% more damage per stack of shock on the enemy with a maximum damage bonus of 90%. This made sense with the old limit of 20 stacks of shock but now shock has a limit of 10 stacks which means you can never reach the maximum 90% more damage (max is 6*10=60%).

The node bone armor in transplant was very shoddily nerfed in 1.1, currently it can have 3 points in it but additional points do nothing (used to have increased effect of bone armor).

The node in Static orb - charged ground and in Summon wraith - Sanguine Spirits still refer to shock/bleed effect respectively a type of modifier that was supposed to be phased out in 0.9

Frenzy totem still uses Ice thorns with the Lash out node a skill that was supposed to be removed entirely. Frost thorns in Summon scorpion also refers to the non existant ice thorns.

I hope these nodes will be appropriately fixed in 1.2

There are a lot of boring nodes in the skilltrees. It would be a big task to go through all of them. I still hope someone else will do all this work :smiley: .

Yes a few of the changed nodes definitely feel outdated. I also think ā€œOn Killā€ effect nodes need to include ā€œOn Hit Against Bosses And Raresā€. Alot of the nodes already have this but some dont and it sucks. Like in the Reaper Form tree, the Hungering Souls proc on kill with Reap needs to include this.

I believe Lich is getting some minor reworks in the coming update, and I wouldnt be surprised if that Transplant Bone Armour node is fixed alongside it.

Right. Like one in Summon Bear (probably the worst skill atm)
