The addition of the harbinger needle fantastic idea! The addition of the Envy glyph again home run! Grinding for over an hour waiting and waiting for Orobyss to spawn to cash in is a huge miss canceling out the previous great ideas.
I’m at a point where I’m not even using Harbinger needles or Envy glyphs anymore because Orobyss just doesn’t spawn. I can get 1700 stability and 2 boss kills before getting a spawn. I’ll have 6 stacks of gaze…I’m still waiting…
So 1 of 2 things need to happen. Increase Orobyss spawns by 500% or add in some new drop, key or other mechanic to fight him. There is such a massive bottleneck here it feels super bad and cancels out the good mechanics that were added.
Because the fastest way to find him is to move thru the echoes in a ‘straight’ line away from the center of the monolith … Is that how you are exploring monos?
You want to move away from the center as fast and as far as possible, in as straight a line as possible … I haven’t had any issues like you described, and it definitely isn’t taking me a full hour to find Orobyss. The further away from the center starting point, the more likely he is to spawn.
P.S. it’s not to say you can’t also grab other echoes along the way with items that you want, if they are off the beaten path, but that will slow down your rate of finding him.
Yea I’m doing that to find him just it almost feels like it’s bugging out. I shouldn’t have to scroll out max to see the 40 mono’s I did to spawn him. It’s just wild sometimes.
With the new mechanics they need to also do something to spawn Orobyss I’m at a bottleneck many times and just shelving the harbinger needles and envies because I’m at 6 stacks of gaze and max stability just give some better Oro spawns.
