Orbital Fulmination node (static orb circles around you) on Static Orb (and maybe the default static orb) has terrain collision problems sometimes when the map has varying height levels. This is particularly problematic on the map called “Ritual Lake” (Spirits of Fire Timeline). If you are in the water on the map the static orb will immediately collide every time you cast it with no orbiting around you. See below video where I cast it on higher level terrain (and it works fine), but if I go in the water the skill basically fails.
I just want to add this is a problem for regular static orb as well. I figure this can’t be intentional but it would be nice to have it confirmed. My wife has noticed terrain issues with certain marksman skills as well so I think it is a large terrain and projectile issue.

Hi, am currently playing Static Orb and i have incountered this issue in Ritual Lake. It feels like it should be fix. The orb just clip in the water making it very hard to go through the Echo, even with other spell it’s clunky(ex: i tried Lightning blast instead and the chain doesn’t do it and clip in the water or in the terrain variation)
