Option to turn off on-hit flashing white effects

Just a bit of feedback - I would really love an option to turn off the on-hit flashing effects. It seems to happen everytime you, a minion, or an enemy gets hit and its super distracting and almost makes the game unplayable for me, especially on minion builds. When I have a bunch of minions out, and everyone is hitting everything, my screen just ends up being a bunch of distracting flashing white lights. I only see an option to turn off flashing hits on enemy hits - but that doesn’t seem to get rid of the actual bright flashing light, just a smaller subtler shading underneath which isn’t so bad.

EDIT: Here’s an example of the flashes I’m talking about: https://imgur.com/a/1StFQMu
Its not so bad when there’s so few minions/enemies on screen, but once you get to 12 skeletons and hordes of enemies, it becomes quite visually overwhelming, and starts to hurt my eyes a bit

its already there:

edit:
or is that the option you already tried?

Aye, that’s the option I already tried, but doesn’t turn off the effect I’m mentioning. There’s a much brighter, larger white flash that appears on hit which this option does not turn off.

Added an edit with a gif to show what I’m referring to

Here’s a gif showing the two flashes. https://imgur.com/a/N284Oi2

First starts with the setting off, then on, then off again. You can see that it removes the outlining of the model on hit (visible in the middle section), but does not remove the ‘hit’ effect.

I would love if the setting removed both flashing effects as it’s quite overwhelming when lots of monsters are present and I’m firing lots of hitting projectiles with my thorn totems.

I would like the option to disable every kind of flashing when hitting an enemy or being hit

This seems a little tricky - I understand the on hit flash enabling or disabling.

But surely you dont want the skill attack effects from being disabled too? How would you “see” that you had actually successfully hit a mob or applied a status effect or ailment?

I could understand a toggle to “reduce” excessive skill effect graphics in favour of performance, but I definitely wouldnt want it disabled entirely…

its a matter of preference - I actually would want it fully disabled (at least when it looks like this). There’s other indicators for the player when you hit → floating damage numbers, hit bar being reduced, physics effects. An on hit special effect also works (and oftentimes better), but when its this bright and flashy, and on every hit, its more detrimental than useful. Its also not a matter of performance, just visual clarity and eye strain.

Suppose its going to have to be one of those personal things then…

As an aside - if LE graphics affect you, dont ever try to play one of the chinese/asian FPS/ARPGs… your brain might explode… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
