I would really like to be able to see my mana above/near my character, because when I die, it’s often because i ran out of mana, but i was too busy looking at my character and dodging things to see it.
I understand there is an issue because the ward bar kind of looks like mana above the character…
My best idea is to display ward as an “alpha overlay” of barrier over the mini-healthbar above the character, instead of showing ward as a separate line. Then the current visual of a thin blue line could be used for mana.
This might be even better if the “ward” overlay grew from the right. that way ward focused players could see the low-health bar growing from the left, and the ward-bar growing from the right… both in the same dense line, and most of the time they wouldn’t even touch.
