As we all know online chars are stored on the servers and we cannot turn them offline and vice versa. How about a possibility that we can export the online chars save data in order to use it as offline save file. This will help playing those who already lvld chars high enough and will allow to play when the servers are not good or when you simply dont have an internet connection.
Yes, I like the idea of online → offline transition. I wouldn’t want to see the other wasy implemented, but on → off should have no negative consequences.

Devs have said that the online save structure is completely different from the offline one.
I see the point in it, even in the extreme case of servers eventually shutting down in the faraway future, but to set devs on coding a conversion tool when they got (imho) better things to do doesn’t seem a wise decision.
Yes please, i would like a transfer from Online to offline only, one way. If the file structure is different, just send me some example saves and ill write the code 
I definitely understand this, its more like one of the things that could be done without haste once all major things are implemented. Depending on the structure of course, but i dont think this will require huge amounts of time or resources. Its more like QoL things, rather than serious functionality. Last Epoch was offline only game in the beginning. Nevertheless I hope more people and hopefully even somebody from the team wil be able to see this. Would be nice to have at least an answer if this possible

So playing Offline then going back to Online, you’d lose whatever progress you made.
I think with how things are (network/stability), implementing something like that would open up a vulnerability that would allow abusers to reinject Offline files back in to Online status. You can easily modify Offline characters. So it would create OP and valuable items that were never actually found.
I’d assume the focus is being put into the network/stability/connection inadequacies so that the serves will be good. Honestly, if you really wanted, you could create the character and make all the items with a 3rd party app. It’s just a little time and hassle.
It’s the same as what you’re asking for. You just have to do it manually.
