its mostly just sad this is a great game they just seem to have fallen on there face and I agree its unacceptable to not have this stuff working. offline mode works but no way to put my offline guy to online now if they could have done then I think no one would care if online was up or down at the start… but since that’s just a pipe dream they might lose people over all this

if is the problem to play online should be option to play offline but let us transfer hero after they fix problem to online mode

If it continues for a week or so, I would agree. But, this game has grown in popularity because of the shortfalls of D4 and a lot of a D4 Content Creators playing LE, etc. We’ll just have to agree to disagree. I’m being patient at this point. D4 had all sorts of beta testing and we would rubberband all over the place when coming close to a town for WEEKS.
They already are and already have.
2 of my friends I had to stress in order to get the game and play together, already requested refund via Steam.
Probably they won’t get another gaming advice by me either …
Triple A games have had far worse launches, it is annoying but give it a few days and most of it should be sorted out. No need to be so upset. Things happen, they didn’t expect this many people to actually play the game I’m sure. Use this time to play offline mode and figure out which class you want to play for sure, or don’t.

Anybody who is really that angry about it can ask for a refund. I’m sure they’ll give it and I’m sure they are embarrassed by this. But they will fix it. Personally, I can be patient with them.

Honestly, I was hoping that the patch 1.0 would fix the obvious network issues we were experiencing in the beta. But nope. Kind of surprised they didn’t get solid networking in place in the beta tbh.
Same here. But, it hasn’t even been 72 hours. It isn’t the end of the world. I understand the frustration, but that just seems extreme to me. Play something else until the gameplay is resolved.
See that’s probably where I need to shut up. I haven’t even played this game for 2 weeks. I’m brand new coming from D4. I don’t know the past history of LE.

Server cost is one of the highest for an ARPG. Probably they miscalculated server demand. It is not as simple as renting infinite server capacity. It is a pain in the as* though. They had enough time to prepare for the launch.
I would hold off on that statement until we see just how this all pans out…

I get your point… but it’s hard to play with your group of friends offline. It’s not like there is a couch coop or LAN option…
honestly, they should just offer refunds now for people who tried to play (or stare at loading screens) for more than 2 hours for a short period of time. thatd be a fair move.
I think that’s ridiculous being that 1.0 launched Tuesday. They gave cosmetics already. Blizzard didn’t do that. They’re also doing a pretty solid job keeping us in the loop, unlike other companies. I completely get the frustration. I can’t zone into the Council Chambers right now. I am in game, but I can’t leave this zone lol.
