I didn’t see a FAQ on this question and I’m hoping this is the appropriate place to ask.
Would it be possible to play our Online characters on off-line mode (due to the servers temporarily down) in order to play later in the evening? I’ve found that the servers worked online last night. I’m located in US.

Would be great in the future if this is possible. I think the off-line mode is great. I remember playing Diablo 2 in off-line mode. I’m vaguely remembering playing Diablo 2 with friends via LAN; memory isn’t so great as I am old.
They dont wanna do that, i read about this suggestion before, it should make problems with people who use cheats etc. they dont wanna let people do this because of that
there are 481541845 ways to cheat in offline mode. They want to keep online clean so there will never be a transfer from offline to online ever.
Wich is best movement from devs i seen so far in online gaming in years. They really try to avoid cheaters and rtm
darn… That’s unfortunate, but I appreciate the information guys!
It’s a good thing for sure and most devs of online games do it as well. It’s the same as if I want all my old chars back because it would only be fair that I start the game with 18 billion gold ^^.
Not to mention that all devs are in “all hand on deck” mode to try and fix the server issues and this would require them to pull some devs from it to work on implementing a solution to a temporary issue that they stopped working on. Doesn’t seem like the most productive idea
