I’ve lost around 4 hours of progression.
i was playing normally, was in town, quit the game using the UI. started the game 2hours later-> didnt notice my internet was down-> exited the game.
fixed the internet - > came back into the game-> was rolled back around 6-7 levels and it was very clear as i was missing a lot of my inventory.
sadly, i cant post a relevant log file as before coming to this forum i tried re-launching a few times (believing its a steam save sync issue)
Because of the online game being laggy I played offline, but cannot access via “leave game”. This freezes my game and I have to quit via task manager.
Please fix this I see this bug has been around for years!
i see, from your first reply i did not understand that and i wanted you to get the most efficient help possible.
i am playing offline, a save rollback is super weird.
This kind of loss actually always happens for me when I exit the game. Items, crafting materials etc. are gone and I’m in a completely different location than when I logged out and rolled back a few levels, no matter if my PC is actually online or not.
I’ve made the case by playing a char to 20 just for the purpose of logging in again to get logs and send create a support case. Waiting for a reply.
Always losing progress logging out is quite … destroying offline mode for me I’d say.
