Odachi vs Trident Required Level

A little feedback/question on the decision for required levels for these two.
As you can see in the image, and anywhere else you look at these two, the required level for the Odachi is 56 with a Melee damage of 70 and Crit Strike Multi range of 100%-170%. The Trident is required level of 51 with Melee damage of 80 and Crit Strike Multi range of 100%-180%.
With the Trident being the higher of the two and the Crit Strike Multi difference being so small, why would the Trident req level be higher, especially 5 levels difference?

'Cause the Coiled Bident is lvl 56? Probably just to provide a bit of variety.
