My other Acolytes (Necromancers) don’t have this and I looked at the passives and my gear and can’t figure out what it is, if it’s important, etc.
You are wielding a Bastion of Honour and that is the “block chance against nearby enemies” radius.

I should have tried removing gear or at least the shield. But thanks, now I know what the nearby range is for that! Clever if confusing. 
No problem, to be honest, I’ve been playing this game for a long time and only figured out this shield gives that radius a few months ago.
You will also notice if you stood near the training dummy in the middle that it is to represent that same circle.
