Since the game drops a lot of trash unique items, I had to hide all uniques in the loot filter and make separate rules to display the most valuable uniques with different LP levels. When a new patch comes out, new uniques are added to the game. These items need to be added to the “show” list so that I can see them in the drop. But the problem is that the patch notes do not provide a list of new uniques and in the game, in the “loot filter” section, new uniques do not have any mark. So how do I update the loot filter every season if there is no list of newly added uniques anywhere?
P.S.
This season, 25 primordial uniques and 5 regular ones were added to the game. I was able to find information about primordial uniques on “last epoch tools” and only thanks to the “primordial” tag. I added them to the loot filter. But how can I show in the loot filter another 5 new uniques added that season if I have no idea what they are called?
SUGGESTION
In each patch note, in the “loot filter” section, all the necessary information should be provided to update loot filters for the new patch (names of new unique items and new affixes on regular items). Also, in the game, in the loot filter settings section, opposite new items and affixes, there should be a mark “NEW”. This will allow you to easily and quickly update the loot filter and not miss new items and affixes.
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/version/version130/new/items - filter by uniques and you get your list. It’s just my opinion, but i don’t that your use case is common enough to warrant implementation in game while there are 3rd party solutions already present, like the one i posted.
Thanks for the link, but even knowing about the existence of this site and using it, I did not immediately understand how to get to this section. Now imagine how a person playing the game 1-2 season will set up a loot filter?
Why should a person who bought the game, in order to set up a loot filter (without which it is physically impossible to play), visit some third-party resource and look for information there that should be provided by the developer directly inside the patch notes (or even better, inside the game)? Such inconveniences are forgivable only for free games.
P.S.
By the way, this list only has 29 unique items, and there should be 30 (25 primordial and 5 regular uniques). Is the list not complete?
If you search for “last epoch 1.3 new uniques” the top result takes you here.
Also, in LETools home, there is a link to the new stuff for the season (items, prefixes/suffixes, suffixes changes, etc). There’s a bunch of links related only to this season in the homepage, one of which takes you to this list.
You don’t need to do that. You have the full new list of uniques, you just need to compare with the ones you already set up rules for. Of course, it’s much easier to consult a list of only new stuff, but you can still infer it in your case.
That being said, previous patch notes listed all the new uniques and I was kinda surprised they didn’t do the same this time.
