I have to say I quite impressed with Last Epoch. I’m an old man gamer who seems to gravitate towards the RPG/ARPG genre. Started out with Diablo 3, moved on to Path of Exile and then started to play around with Diablo 2 when I stumbled onto Last Epoch.
For a beta release it is very well executed and the dev team really put a lot of hard work into this product. So far I’m having a lot of fun playing through the campaign. I hope the dev team’s hard work pays off and that the final release will be a great success.
I am on the same page as you, I heard about LE about an year ago but it was in a significantly early stage (for me at least) so held off on buying it. But its starting to look really good, I have played PoE since open beta and we are seriously lacking some good games in this department. Wolcen was such a huge disappointment. I hope LE does well, PoE2, D4 and LE if they all live up to the expectations should create a healthy competition scenario which I believe is gonna help the genre in general, excited to be here
