Yeah, #### hurts now! Can’t just go AFK in a spire map anymore.
Edit: Though it also raises the question about your build/gear. My Necro has capped resists, 37% armour mitigation & 4-6k ward & I do try & avoid spires.
Haha yeah no worries on the gear, it’s low on ward because spellblade gotta spellblade. I sustain about 2.5-3k ward with the gear I had in the clip so long as I’m actively smacking something. Just wanted to run around and figure out what the Bone Spire does and highlight how it can be actual danger now and isn’t something that can be ignored.
Had the same thing… Ran a quick 100lvl MoF in my tankyboi paladin and got my arse handed to me by a 3 spire map… the only one that didnt cause me that much trouble was the blood ball ones…
Instilling fear is an understatement… I ran around like World War Z speedyboi zombies were on my arse…
Must admit, I like the increase in difficulty - especially on the empowered levels but holy hell it just emphasises how easy lvl 100 was before this… No way a level 80 character can be considered “a completed build” if the 100lvl MoF echos stay this hard.
Might need some smoothing but all good really… imho
The spires are nearly one-shotting my Sorcerer who face-tanks the Shade.
Is it possible the skills have been misapplied on the mobs? Each time I’ve faced the Shade with his various abilities none of them appear to be up to the damage of a rare Golem. Just my 2c from expecting the Shade to be terrifying and now paying more attention to double Flame Spires
Very possible that things are not working exactly as the devs intended…
Thats what we are here for…
In previous patches things like this have happened and either the devs drop a fix or they post a thread explaining that this is something they want to try/test and see how it goes for a while…
Compared to the old spires that you just ignored, these beefy ones really are a shock to the system… Without movespeed to get the hell out of the way its really hard… Damn hard kiting on a old tank…
