I had an idea which would be cool to see, a rune which lets you chance the weapon type of a weapon specifically thought of with uniques in mind, would be nice to be able to take a unique that you really like but change its weapon type to suit your build, for example i get a really good unique weapon but it doesnt work with serpent strike has its not a spear, the rune would let me change it to a spear, wether chosen or random idk what would be best.
While I am not opposed to the idea itself,
this is a lot of work, because of animations.
Also this could potentially be gamebreaking, because usually Uniques are designed very deliberately with certain slots/item types, so you can’t combine them with other uniques etc.
For example some 1H weapons that can’t be dual wielded sometiems ahve incredibly powerful effects that would be gamebreaking i you can dual wield them.
By changing a Sword to an Axe or vice-versa this could lead to such cases.
