Feel free for others to add thoughts / prayers to this but I was thinking a lot of the time we’re forging a REALLLLLLY good exalt we’ve spent days to find and then giving it final touches or trying to hit a removal first and all the precious FP gets eaten.
I propose a rune on the same rare scale as a creation that adds a random or set amount of FP to an item ONCE per item. I am not 100% sure on the FP use scale atm but I know sometimes a removal stings from 1 up to 18 and you die a bit inside having gone from a dream to a cringe hitting that higher roll. This one rune could potentially save what was days or weeks of farming to find simily by allowing that final few refinements or that removal/readd etc.
It’s probably been suggested before but if not theres my base idea. Hopefully that doesnt offend anyone and cause people to say they like the current system just fine (maybe create a poll on the forums/reddit because I bet itll get a positive response)
yeah something that lets you gain FP would be pretty great. Id have to imagine that no matter how rare it would get made, itd have to have some pretty severe drawbacks, like lowering tiers of affixes on that item when used.
It is a good idea though, as long as EHG arent running on the philosophy that FP is uber valuable and can never be increased, only decreased. I imagine if they were to add it, it would take alot of time, the balancing around it would have to be pretty painstaking.
Also funny enough the “drawback” you mentioned with lowering affix tiers is actually not a drawback in all circumstances, so you could use that to your advantage.
Overall I am not convinced that adding FP is something LE needs. If this would be added at some point though I think it needs to be balanced by rarity if its a random drop or be only obtainable by very specific high end endgame content.

yeah I get that, but I think some sort of drawback is necessary outside of drop rate. If you could farm slowly for multiple, and guarantee infinite FP on an exalted, I think thats kind of crazy. Maybe a cap to the max amount of FP you can gain on a given item, or as the poster said, a cap of how many times it can be used on an item. Or youd have to make it a drop obtainable only through content on the level of Ubby. (without being able to party with someone OP and cheese free ones.)
A way, whatever it is, to increase FP would be pretty amazing and I doubt anyone would be unhappy with that, thats for sure.
I should also add once fp has been added you cannot duplicate the item so it’s not there to double up on the amazing ones just to help you refine one you reaaaaaally worked hard on, I mean they could also adjust the cost of scale of FP on items and make it slightly less or increase FP on items, the highest I think I’ve seen ever is around 63 on one of my drops but a lot of them drop in the 30’s or 40’s and then you hit a removal and it takes 18 of your 32 and you’re left with what could have been really good but it’s now got 14, you hit one rune or glyph and its done and the entire drop is wasted, theres goes 6 hours.
A lot of players will know the feels of hours and hours, days or weeks to find that exalt that you finally found to slap on that super rare lp2 or 3 item only to have it run out of fp.
As mentioned @Heavy@Willselby01 i think rarity wise it should be on par with creation rune, at one point I had about 20 of those which was weeks and weeks of not using them vs the 100’s of havocs and redemptions I’ve had and 1000’s of everything else which is easily farmable, I think that rarity is enough if;
1: you can only use it once per item
2: an item can’t be duped once you add the FP - meaning its literally just to finish off that item you think is going to be mega.
Adding this might cull the need for a guarenteed second slam in temporal which from what I’m seeing might be coming, how do you feel about that? Anyways I asked in chat on a few occassions over the last week to see what people playing thought and everyone was pro for it so guess time will tell and I think FP has been brought up a gazillion times so there is a probably some kind of change coming at some point anyway
About extra FP - I prefer less -15 -18 or even -23 severe FP failures instead of gimmimoar
Also, from Dev stream (previous week) I can recall mentioning rune(glyph?) that may help to focus on prefix/suffix instead of standard 4 slots. Like Prefix+removal - suffixes are save, 50% to remove unwanted prefix
