New Player from D4

As a new player from D4 I have found LE to be overall fun to play( Only 2 characters around L10 ). I have appreciated not having to hack at trash mobs for 5 or 6 hits to kill them, and I am enjoying finding items that help my characters and give me a real sense of progression.
One question, when exploring a new zone, my inventory gets full and I return to sell my items, when I return to the zone I was just in, why is the area I just explored all new to me again? It’s like my progress isn’t be saved. Cheers…

Welcome to the forums.

Glad you are enjoying things so far… You have a lot still to explore and experience.

The map resetting is currently a known issue as the devs are still working on state persistence across maps vs online play and obviously with multiple players involved (even if you are only playing solo). Its not quite a “bug” but rather an outstanding “feature” that we will hopefully get eventually.

Cheers.

Like @vapourfire mentioned, its a well known bug from the beginning of time. Hope you enjoy LE, it is a much more fulfilling arpg than D4. Have fun!

You’re not meant pick up all those items. This is not Diablo 3 - don’t know how it works in D4 - where players pick up almost everything for crafting materials. In LE sold equipment returns barely any gold and the time required to constantly go to town to sell those items is way better spent by ignoring most items on the ground (or setting up a proper loot filter) and progressing your character. You also get equal amounts of or even more gold by just picking up the stacks dropped by monsters in the same time frame.

Thanks for the reply. D4 worked the same way as D3, for me anyways. I loot ALL dropped items keep the good items I can use, break down items for “crafting” and, or sell to merchant if I need gold.
I am not familiar with the term “Stacks” dropped by monsters,. usually its just random equipment/weapons/jewelry from what I have seen so far in LE… Cheers

I still do it though. lol (And in my experience, you do kinda need the idols for build variety.)

Welcome to the game and the forum!

What he was referencing was the “gold stacks” which they can drop in 1 GP or thousands of GP per stack.

When it comes to idols I agree. I picked up most idols as well, up until I had over 50 stash tabs filled with all sorts of idols to cover the bases.

I did that plus 14 characters that just held on to idols. It was getting nuts, haha.
