New Monolith Progress

As most of you know when you die in monolith you reset your progress for that timeline. This is something I find very frustrating, mostly due to bosses. The new bosses deal a lot of damage even to higher level characters and have certain mechanics that you need to know in order to beat the boss. This of course leads to deaths, maybe even more than a couple of times for some. Normally I am fine with dying the first time or couple times to learn the boss, but when you have to go back and redo ALL the echos all over again EVERY time it becomes tedious, frustrating and not fun. You also have to take into consideration that your build may play part in your death rather than how you are playing. Maybe you need more defenses, maybe your playstyle isn’t good or meta anymore due to how the endgame and bosses have changed. Of course normally you would just test this by playing and continuing attempts to beat the boss, but how are you supposed to do this efficiently without annoyance when you have to redo every echo again. It took me 20 echos to reach the boss of my 2nd timeline and I can only imagine it will take more in further timelines. This annoyance has caused me to temporarily put the game down and come back later with the hope of this being addressed soon. My personal recommendation to the devs would be to place a checkpoint at the end of each quest echo and at the beginning of each boss. This is all just my opinion so I could be wrong, but I would love to hear everyone else’s opinions and ideas so please leave comment.

Or maybe we could all use one of the many already existant monolith feedback threads rather than creating an un-ending tide of them?
