Like the runemasters when there is time to do something istead of getting ready for 1.0 ^^. I think before 1.whatever we see no real balancing at all.
Cool items!
I think the new unique belt packed dream and hope!
Let’s hope there’s some exceptional spear love hiding in the patch notes later today!
Like i said depends on the build. For example if you go with druid spriggan thorn totem build, you can get +15 from spriggan aura, +40 from roots which can be procced in seconds with good nodes on skill tree, +20 if you go with cold conversion, around +65 flat from chest and head affixes. You can get around 800-1000% damage increase for end game totem build from which 400% is from T7 weapon affix.
Not sure if with those numbers you can call it a big buff with new affix.
Link of my build for reference
Wait dont this change to minion affixes make DOT minion builds like scorpion poison useless?
You actually got a point. I didn’t realize they are CHANGING the affix from % increased minion damage to flat minion damage instead of adding them as new affixes. This might be a mistake as the game should provide us more options instead of removing/changing the current one when they are fine to exist in game right now.
However, I don’t want to make too many assumptions or complaint before reading the full patch notes and trying out the game. Additionally, while we discussing around flat and % increased, there is still “more damage” involve in damage formula. I am not good at Math but I think more flat minion damage combine with “more damage” may still result a better damage output overall even if you have lower % increased damage as compared to earlier. I could be wrong tho.
This looks fun as hell, can’t wait to try the new toys!
looks awesome
Have they announced what time today the 1.0 full patch notes get released? cant wait to spend hours going through all the juicy info
In 32 minutes.
thanks for the reply
throwing is fine yes, I just find the split of bow and throwing to be extremely weird and awkward. If you wanna do a bow build on rogue you have a ton of options and you are free to experiment with them, however throwing has significantly less support.
Falconer (looking at LEtools 1.0 PTR) has 6 throwing passives, putting it up to about 14 throwing passives vs the entire passive tree of marksman that is just bows and they do not affect throwing in any way. They can’t fit in as much support for throwing if they don’t want to make bow passives also work with throwing,
They could fit more throwing related passives in for Sentinel because he doesn’t use bows so there is more space.
That’s why I think the split is very weird and awkward and making throwing builds to me feels janky. That’s why I wish that throwing and bow would be combined into ranged damage, or something along those lines. It just feels bad to have so little throwing passives.
2 Day
Super excited for these new items for 1.0. I love the items for mage and I am excited to play the new masteries.
