New Affix on Gloves, Shred the Game 60%-90%!

Hello everyone,

there it is again, the grumpy and bad-ass person.

My fears have all come true, the number of players is collapsing, the inflation in the game is as breathtaking as in Venezuela.

I wasn’t online for a week and the prices have increased tenfold, there are many reasons for this. But you can definitely and immediately name one reason: the terrible drop rates for items with legendary potential.

The idea behind Last Epoch is uniquely good, but the implementation is at least poor.

This game has unwound itself, from opaque surveys to a toxic community that has been playing the game longer than the newbies to bad loot and the lack of feeling of satisfaction when you finish a build.

Conclusion:

-overwhelmed developers
-toxic community
-bad loot

= ultimately means an unemployed player base of 7,000 players who can grind the game 24/7 and the general public falls by the wayside and turns away.

Happy Easter and good luck, you’ll need it.

Hallo zusammen,

Moldas

I don’t see it as anything too concerning right now and it was a very successful league (cycle, sorry). Sure, there were some bumps in the road and things could have gone better in the beginning, but even with those issues, the game hit a pretty high peak player count and even retained a good amount of them despite a pretty barebones endgame.

Ontop of the endgame lacking, which is an issue that will improve with time, PoE has been drumming up hype with their new league launch which will really hit the playerbase. A lot of people are excited for this league, and with most people getting all they need of out this cycle, they will jump ship for the time being. Then by the time the PoE league is dying, we will be getting 1.1 for Last Epoch and the cycle continues.

The future of Last Epoch is bright and something we should be excited for. The devs are super involved with the community, giving us constact feedback and input into the games development. All the top PoE content creators and even people like Asmongold all said good things about the game and as much as people might not like it, what these people say does matter because they bring big fanbases to the game.

Have you heard of a game called “Path of Exile” by any chance?
