Nerf off screen one shots and boss particle effects

the biggest, worst feeling i get while playing this game is spawning into a map, and learning 30 seconds in that there’s a siege golem somewhere within 6 miles of me and instantly dying to a barely visible fire effect that’s currently hidden under all my other fire effects produced by my army of minions who are on fire.

the second worst feeling is when i see a boss rearing back to do a mechanic, and i’m fully prepped to move out of it, but the attack is so particle heavy that my high end computer on LOW GRAPHIC SETTINGS hiccups for 1 second and i instantly die.

dying because i wasn’t paying attention, or i’m too comfortable around big fire circles is one thing, but dying because the game is poorly optimized is b------t.

Agree on the first one… but thats been discussed to death on the forum already…

Second one I havent really experienced that often and I run 60fps on an old 1060gpu at 1080p and it drops down to 25fps in busy moments - but still enough for me to get out of dodge when I have to. Yes, the game is in beta and generally unoptimised, but it may be worthwhile to see if there is anything specific about this you are experiencing. If you have this problem while playing a minion heavy build then thats obviously already a known issue and there is not much we can do right now till the devs optimise… but if its something specific with a particular boss/mob or special effect or particular skill then maybe others can confirm it and we can get it put on dev bug list…

It’s generally any enemy with a big breath attack, like majasa or emperor of corpses and so on.
