I looked up what damage type those bats are and they do DoT…
At 500c with 3k HP , full res, 80% glancing blow, 40% armor, and mostly 50%+ dodge ONLY 3 normal typ bats almost 1 shot me.
I even have armor applies to DoT migation.
Thats cant be intended.
The rest in maps does almost nothing against me, not even bosses.
The Damage type needs to be changed.
Yes DoT type damage is among the most dangerous.
How much do you have? You only have 40% armor, then having 10 or 20 % of that Stat will not do much.
There is also Reduced Damage over time taken, which would be better for low armor builds. (Oracle Amulet or some Class Idols)
I mean compared to the rest it is still too much damage, you can actually only deal with dots if you have cleans but in this case you cant benefit of it.
and 20% less damage would still be huge incoming damage by those bats.
I switched to an DoT reduction amulet and i dont get it, how messed up is the damage calculation…
Its just a 20% and it feels like 50% or more …
How did you test?
There are so many factors. Enemy Affixes. Enemy Ech Modifier, Corruption.
I always looked on the monolith modifiers since i noticed their power, and it didnt rly matter which modifiers cause they always fucked me up bad.
I run around in 500-600c atm.
Before the amulet i was at 500c and they most likely 1 shot me now im in 600c with the amulet and they dont rly hurt that much anymore.
Still dangerous compared to the rest but its not an insta hertattack anymore when i see them.
Glancing blow doesnt work on dot right?

These bats are a real pain in the a**. Even at COR 100 they can 2shot me, and I´m not really a glass cannon. But there are more Enemies that feel way to overtuned. Tundra Stalker with Ice Breath. These Lightning Elementals with Shotgunblast. Firedamage as a whole.
I have capped Resistances and around 60% damage reduction with Armour and sometimes it feels like I´m having 0 DEF.
